Robert Half Finance is seeking candidates for a full-time Staff Accountant position, which will become a critical part of an innovative Manufacturing company. In this Staff Accountant role, it will be critical for you to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. Other responsibilities include internal reporting during the monthly close, participation in compliance, interaction with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and reviewing schedules reporting processes. What you get to do every day - Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks - Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting - Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll - Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision - Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation - Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries - In-depth experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations - Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable - Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls under SOX. Also ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules - Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting - Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation Please reach out to Molly Gardner at molly.gardner@roberthalf.com or call me at 913-451-1733
