Remington Sanding - General Labor in Lexington, Missouri

Employee must be able to work in any area on the production floor as needed. Because of variety of product (i.e. gunstocks, dimension wood parts) being produced at different times, duties may vary from day to day. The employee will perform their job by performing the following duties.

Follow instructions given by supervisor which can include the following:

Moves finished and unfinished wood parts (gunstocks) to and from workstation. This requires lifting regularly less than a pound to 5 lbs. and very occasionally up to 30 lbs. Repair parts by hand using a small hand sander or hand sanding a part. May also use small amount of stain or glue as necessary to repair the part. May inspect parts to make sure they meet quality standards, would do this by handling parts, turning and looking at all sides of part. Required to meet production/quality standards. Maintain positive attitude in regard to housekeeping, quality and productivity cost. Follow all departmental and plant safety rules and regulations. Required to work any required overtime or any shift.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
